WORK WORK WORK WORK WORK

I worked 17 hours yesterday, but we got it done. Fuckin' A.

I got a shit ton done this weekend.

I bought a washer/dryer, a vacuum and emptied my storage unit.

I'm spent. Literally.

Can I borrow your towel. My car hit a water buffalo

Things are going alright. I've been really fucking lazy the last 2 weekends. I have stuff I need to get done,
like buying a washer-dryer and getting out of my storage unit. Both are not huge tasks. One costs me money.
One saves me money. I might be able to get out of the storage unit on Sunday. $80 a month back into my pocket.


Saturday I am racing a Mazda6 on a track at El Toro. That should be fun. 4 laps in a brand new Mazda6.
Time to kick the tires and light the fires.

My mom is going to be at my house when I get home today. No big deal. She's visiting today and tomorrow.

I got a lot done at work this week. Got some machines installed at our co-lo facility and launched a new
monitoring system for my 600 node WAN. It's proving to be pretty badass.

Finished tryouts for Laser Quest. It should be pretty fun this year. The regionals are in Vegas. I get to
see a bunch of people I havent seen in a few years and I get to play LQ. Even though it pretty much sucks
to play in our own center. I have good feelings about Vegas. If I can tag one shoulder, I'll be happy.

I got my tax return last week. Got a TiVo about 20 minutes after that.

Goddamn............TiVo is great. I don't have to stay up late anymore,
unless I become an insomniac, which hits me about once a month now. It
used to be more frequent, like once or twice a week. I never miss a show
now and the TV doesn't monopolize my time. I just flip it on whenever I
get a chance and watch a few programs or movies that I want to watch.

My cat has been coughing up shit lately. Never while I'm around too.
When my previous cats had that problem I could either hear them or catch
one of them hacking whatever it is up. Then I could adjust their diet or
environment accordingly. This little shit does it during the day. Ah well.
It was hot the other day and that might be her getting a tad dehydrated
or something.

Work's going alright. Not too much to report. My raise should be coming
on the next paycheck. The job is still pretty much thankless and will
remain that way until we can sit back and let the software and hardware
do its work.

I want a new car. I don't really need one, but the Si is coming up on
some repairs and maintenance (brakes and maybe a clutch) that will force
me to bust out some coin on it. I'm at that point where the car is worth
something, so lets try to get what I can out of it now and move into a
better car. I have my eye on a Mini Cooper S. It's a sweet car.
I'm holding out on test driving one, because if it handles as well as
my car does, is more comfortable, with more power and a ton of accessories,
I will want to get one REALLY bad. To avoid this, I must wait a few months.
