SCORE!

Well..........My mom hounded me on my birthday for something to get me. So I picked up a new hobby, bowling. She said she'd pay for half of everything I need for bowling. Ball, Bag, Shoes and Hooker to wash my ball. Well...........maybe not the hooker.

Who wants to help me take the wheels of my house?

That's right. For the most part I am moved into the house with wheels. I have some loose ends to tie up, but hopefully I can get all that shit done before we throw some rocks down the lanes tomorrow.

I'm fucking tired.

Today, is not the day for Randy to be at work

That pretty much sums it up right there. Fuckholes here at work trying to dish shit off to me that they can't solve and better yet, I have no involvment with.

Example A) A Coworker came up to me about 5 minutes ago with a problem that a programmer is trying to "post something to the implementation queue" and it's not working. First off, I have no fucking clue what the fuck this fuckhole is fucking talking about. Secondly, he's trying to blame MS Outlook. "Sounds like the installation of Outlook is screwy. Can you go take a look?" So I look him straight in the face and say, "I have no clue what kind of process you use for change implementation and furthermore, you are more versed in how the process is supposed to work than me." You ever tried to tell a sysadmin to get off his ass and go check out the functionality of a piece of client software? Well, I can tell you this. It's easier to get Tiger to lose weight. The sysadmins around here (with the exception of the lead sysadmin) are lazy as all fuck. They take forever to do the most trivial tasks and hardly know what they're doing when they're doing it. If that makes any sense at all.

I swear, if fuckhole comes back over here and tells me he needs me to look at it, I'm going to go over to that user's machine and really break it. Then I can say the change that he said needed to be done to the machine broke it, and that fuck can rebuild it himself so that he's sure that it gets loaded correctly.

As Phil and I used to say at the Base, "If you have the nerve to tell me that I did something wrong, you'd best back your claim or reap the whirlwind."

Oh and "fuck".

And now for the rant stylings of yours truly..........

Ok so I lied. No rant as of yet, because this weekend was fun as hell. Lots of great games. Carlos got a new machine and I'd say that increased his skill level about 0.00001%. He pretty much just gets to see the carnage in great detail, instead of looking away so his old machine wouldn't lag out. We had some bloodlusted Huntress action to go with our cupcakes and pizza. What else could you ever possibly want? In the immortal words of Thurgood Jenkins from the motion picture 'Half Baked', "Yeah, one more thing. Remember that stuff? We used to eat a whole lot of it back in the day? What was it... oh yeah, pussy."

Glorious. Now for the rant.

I came to find out yesterday that I need to be moved out of my house by the 25th, instead of the 31st, which I was previously told. How did I come to find this out? My aunt told me. Not my cousin, the owner of the house, but my aunt. How fan-fucking-tabulous is that? So I have roughly 96 hours to get everything situated, AND work all week as well. It's surprising that someone who has nothing to do all day but think about things like telling me that the new owners take possession the 25th, can't even remember to do so. The nightmare will be over soon.

"Mother of God."- Officer Rammathorn, Super Troopers

Not a whole lot will be going on this week. Just a lot of sorting and moving. Oh what fun.

"Bowling is the shit. Am I wrong? Am I wrong?" - Yours Truly

End of post.

Dale Sturtevant: Hi. I'm Dale Sturtevant. I've been raising dogs since I was six. And nothing has brought me more joy, or more sheer frustration, than training a puppy. With a very young pup, correcting problem behavior can be very maddening. And, like you, I've probably tried all the tricks - screaming myself hoarse, starving them, locking them in a closet for days on end, or just beating them without mercy. But after my third arrest and court-ordered anger-management counseling, I learned to channel my rage into an effective non-violent puppy training tool. It's called "Dissing Your Dog: how to train your puppy with mockery and verbal humiliation".

You see, dogs are much more intuitive than we give them credit for. They know when they're the butt of ridicule. And when they misbehave, a well-placed sarcastic comment or cutting remark can work wonders wherever a rolled-up newspaper fails. Whatever your puppy's behavior problem, I guarantee I can help you fix it.

Dale Sturtevant VoiceOver: Problems like jumping on furniture..

Dale Sturtevant: Oh no, no, no, Humphrey, don't get up. You just stay there, relax. After all, you did put in a long day of work at a demanding high-stress job. Oh no, wait a minute, that's me! Now I remember! I'm the one with the job. You're the one who lies around the house all day in a pool of your own slobber!

[ dog jumps off couch ]

Dale Sturtevant V/O: Accidents in the house..

Dale Sturtevant: Hey, Walter! Thanks for your "help" with the new off-white sofa. Everybody agrees that dump you left there was the perfect "accent". So, good job. Oh, and by the way, Milton Berle called. He wants his bladder back.
[ dog climbs down from sofa and pees properly over a newspaper ]
That's a good job!

Dale Sturtevant V/O: Fussy eating habits..

Dale Sturtevant: Oh, right, Margaret, you wanted prime rib. Here's the deal: The Palm wasn't taking reservations, and I didn't even try Morton's because I understand they have a new chef. So for now, let's just go with the Alpo, okay? I know it's not your first choice but keep in mind, you're a f--king dog!

[ dog eats the Alpo ]

Dale Sturtevant: I'm so confident this program works, I'm gonna send you Volume 1 of the five-part series free of charge. Once you've seen it, I know you'll order the rest. [ looks down at dog ] Right, Murphy, you brainless sack of excrement? [ to camera ] She's being punished.

Announcer: To order "Dissing Your Dog", dial 1-800-555-0199. Call today.

Dale Sturtevant: Remember: there's one thing stronger than a dog's sense of smell - his sense of irony.

QUESTION OF THE DAY: How can you move items of furniture and what-not out of a house when you CANNOT WALK ON THE FLOORS?

ANSWER: You don't and you deal with the fucking whining when you're not moved out on said date.

All you motherfuckers are gonna pay, You are the ones who are the ball-lickers. We're gonna fuck your mothers while you watch and cry like little bitches. Once we get to Hollywood and find those Miramax fucks who are making that movie, we're gonna make 'em eat our shit, then shit out our shit, then eat their shit which is made up of our shit that we made 'em eat. Then you're all fucking next! - Jay, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

I am one pissed off motherfucker. My goddamned cousin told me I had until October 31 to move out of this place, and that is when the new owners are moving in. So, I'm thinking, cool I have like 3 weeks to get my shit out of here and moved into the house on wheels next door. I was fuckin wrong. I guess she told the new owners they could make improvements to the house while we (me and my roommate) were still living here. How do I know she probably told them this? Well, the 120db FLOOR SANDER at 9:30am on a SATURDAY FUCKING MORNING might have been a clue.

I had planned on getting a storage unit and hoofing half my shit into it this weekend. That plan was erased from the list when there was a new coat of Deft Polyurethane floor finish applied just outside my bedroom door by 11am Saturday and then through the rest of the house by 10am today.

Hows that for some fucking consideration on my cousin's part? First she discontinues the goddamned cable without telling me, then she lets the new owners hinder my ability to move my shit out of here. FAN-FUCKING-TASTIC!

I know where this inconsideration comes from, though.

A) She has no job and apparently, doesn't understand the fact that basically the only time I have to move my shit is on the weekends because I have what? That's right listeners, A FUCKIN JOB!

B) SHE NO LONGER FUCKING LIVES HERE. You read correctly. She's now living in an apartment in Newport Beach, where the rent's cheap and the view sucks. No, wait, that's where I will be moving to for several months, except for the whole apt. in NB part, until my apartment becomes available. The only reason I haven't brought up that thorn in my saddle yet, is because it's only a thorn in my saddle when it comes to my current situation when compared to HER current situation.

Oh well. At least I'll be able to buy a place in 2 more years, during whilest, she will probably have squandered all of the money that she has made by selling this house. That's right listeners, she has no plans of buying another piece of property. I hope she enjoy's taxes. She's probably not to used to paying them, not having worked in quite sometime.

Monkey > Minnesota Twins

The power of the monkey is greater than the power of the whole Minnesota Twins baseball team.

The Angels are going to the world series. Who hit Satan in the head with a snowball?

The monkey.

The Angel's playoff game just started. Methinks I might go to a pizza joint and watch it.

I'm pissed. I'm going to miss the Sopranos tonight.

End of post.

You are 25% geek
OK, so maybe you ain't a geek. You do, at least, show a bit of interest in the world around you. Either that, or you have enough of a sense of humor to pick some of the sillier answers on the test. Regardless, you're probably a pretty nifty, well-rounded person who gets along fine with people and can chat with just about anyone without fear of looking stupid or foolish or overly concerned with minutiae. God, I hate you.

Take the Polygeek Quiz at Thudfactor.com

"Who said that? Who the fuck said that? Who's the slimy little communist shit, tinkle-toed cocksucker down here who just signed his own death warrant? Nobody, huh?! The fairy fucking godmother said it! Out-fucking-standing! I will PT you all until you fucking die! I'll PT you until your assholes are sucking buttermilk." - Gunnery Sergeant Hartman

My aunt is so cool. I talked with her this morningt. She's making room in "The great room" of her house so I can hookup my PC's. I have 2 that I absolutely have to have up and running in order for me to be able to pay bills and what not. So that question is answered. I was talking to Rab last night about storage units for all my crap. He said the one he has is about $1 per square foot. That's encouraging, as I probably only need about a 5'x5' unit to keep my stuff in.

As it turns out, my internet connection at home is also disconnected. So I did some "creative engineering" and was able to borrow a connection from my neighbor/boss via his access point. So I have high speed internet yet again, at no cost.

So the next few months, I'll be saving a ton of money. I figure I'll have about $1200 to spend on appliances/furniture for my new place when all is said and done.

You might recognize this song as performed by Jefferson Airplane, in a little rockumentary called "Gimme Shelter," about the Rolling Stones and their nightmare at Altamont. That night the Oakland chapter of the Hell's Angels had their way. Tonight, it's my turn. -Chip Douglas, The Cable Guy

So I spent most of the weekend at the hotel, workin', chillin', sleepin'...then I went home after the Sopranos were over. Good fuckin' thing too, cause my goddamned cable is now disconnected. That sucks ass. My cousin never told me she was going to discontinue that service before I moved out. Now there is basically nothing to do at home, besides pack my shit up for storage. My cable modem should be up for another day or so. I'll find out today when I get home from work. If that shit is down, I'm just going to shut down all but 2 machines (my checkbook PC and the backup server for it) and pack all my other shit for storage and rock the laptop for the next few months, only dawning the Monster machine for jihad's and things of the like.

My cousin is already moved into her new apartment. I will be rocking it "Whiskey Tango" in my aunt and uncle's driveway home with wheels for a few months, until my boss finds a new house to move into. I don't mind really, cause for entertainment, while I'm in the trailer, Scott said I could leach his DSL via wireless until he ditches it. By then, he'll be moved out to a new house and I'll move into his place. I'll save a shit ton of money over the next few months. I'll have to get a storage unit, but that won't cost all that much as I'll only need a 6'X 6' unit at the most. I will be getting rid of at least 3 of my PC's though. I gotta hit up the gang and see what they feel is a reasonable price for my gear. Most of it is in great condition still and the only reason I'm getting rid of it, is because I haven't used it in 6-9 months and don't feel like moving it over and over and over again. None of the machines are game worthy, but they'll do your standard office apps, play mp3's and movies and whatnot.

I gotta look into getting appliances soon. A stacker washer/dryer and refridgerator are in my future. Those will set me back a few, but then again, I'll be paying about 1/4 of the rent I normally pay for the next 3 months. That leaves a lot to spend on appliances.

Anyhoo, going to RobnKaren's tonight to watch the Monster Garage and CSI Miami. It should be fun.

Brian: Get some sour cream and onion chips with some dip, man, some beef jerky, some peanut butter. Get some Haagen-Dasz ice cream bars, a whole lot, make sure chocolate, gotta have chocolate, man. Some popcorn, red popcorn, graham crackers, graham crackers with marshmallows, the little marshmallows and little chocolate bars and we can make s'mores, man. Also, celery, grape jelly, Cap'n Crunch with the little Crunch berries, pizzas. We need two big pizzas, man, everything on 'em, with water, whole lotta water, and Funyons.
Kenny Davis: That's it?
Thurgood Jenkins: Yeah, one more thing. Remember that stuff? We used to eat a whole lot of it back in the day? What was it... oh yeah, pussy.

Jebus. Work this weekend will not suck. In fact, it will rule.

We have a suite at the Four Seasons overlooking the ocean and a bunch of ass.

Goddamn............

Goldmember: Shmoke and a pancake? Waffle and a shigar? Crepe and a pipe? Bong and a blintz? No? Ok.

Yeah, so tomorrow marks the day, a quarter century ago, that my mother ejected me like a 6 lb lump of quivering, shivering, baby goo. In fact she's bugging me today about what I want. The truth is, I really don't expect anything. I buy everything that I want so it's hard to think of a gift for me. Same goes for Christmas. Ah well. I think I might just tell her that I could use some bedsheets or something. Maybe a new desk. I dunno.

Anyhoo, I gotta work all weekend this weekend. It should be cool though. We'll be hanging out at the Four Seasons, fixing laptops, drinking, watching DVD's and playing Playstation 2. I might even try to install Warcraft 3 on the laptop again, so we can have some mini-jihad action in the hotel room. That would be badass. It should go well. As long as the "users" drop of their shit and pick up their shit in a timely fashion. To aid us this weekend, I built a "portable server". It's pretty cool. I took this 1.2Ghz P3 Laptop that I keep at my desk as a backup and loaded it with Windows 2000 Server, with a bunch of necessary software and services that we could use. I put them all on a website on the "server", so we don't even need to map drives, or mount shares. The boss was impressed.

Time to get back to "work". It's been a tad slow the last 2 days as we're waiting for 60 more PC's to come in. Hopefully in 2 weeks or so, we can finally finish our network out and forget about it.
